The article analyzes the theoretical and pedagogical foundations of formingpatriotic qualities in high school students in a digital educational environment. The purpose of thestudy is to scientifically substantiate the content of patriotic qualities, their structural components,and the educational potential of the digital learning environment. The research applies theanalysis of scientific and pedagogical literature, regulatory documents, comparative analysis, asystematic approach, and generalization. As a result, the structure of patriotic qualities consistingof cognitive, emotional-value, and activity-behavioral components is substantiated. The conceptof “digital patriotic education” is also clarified, and pedagogical conditions for its organizationare proposed.
