The article examines the constitutional reforms in Uzbekistan, highlighting their significance and impact on the development of democratic processes. It emphasizes the role of the Constitution in ensuring a balance of rights and responsibilities between the state, society, and citizens. The necessity of regularly updating the Constitution to meet modern challenges is underscored. Special attention is given to the adoption of the new version of the Constitution through a nationwide referendum. The article analyzes the introduced amendments aimed at strengthening the protection of human rights and freedoms, as well as reinforcing the principles of the rule of law and a legal state.
