The article examines the environmental significance of hydrogen energy and legislative innovations related to its development. It analyzes regulatory legal acts and strategic programs aimed at developing environmentally friendly energy sources, especially hydrogen energy, in Uzbekistan and globally. It describes measures to support hydrogen energy from the state, as well as the implementation of its economic and environmental potential. The article also analyzes legal innovations in the application of environmentally friendly hydrogen technologies and their impact on sustainable energy systems. It examines the main principles of strategic documents on the development of hydrogen energy in countries such as Japan, South Korea, the European Union (especially Germany) and Russia, as well as their features.
