This research focuses on the structure of market centers in the Samarkanduyezd, the factors influencing their formation, and their socio-economic characteristics. Based onhistorical sources, archival documents, and statistical records, the study analyzes the location ofmarkets, their internal organization, trade forms, operational mechanisms, and their role in theeconomic life of the population. The findings provide a comprehensive understanding of how themarket system in the Samarkand uyezd developed, its socio-economic importance, and itscontribution to regional development. This work serves as a valuable academic and practicalresource for studies in economic history, trade infrastructure, and regional economicanthropology.
