This research focuses on the structure of market centers in the Samarkand uyezd, the factors influencing their formation, and their socio-economic characteristics. Based on historical sources, archival documents, and statistical records, the study analyzes the location of markets, their internal organization, trade forms, operational mechanisms, and their role in the economic life of the population. The findings provide a comprehensive understanding of how the market system in the Samarkand uyezd developed, its socio-economic importance, and its contribution to regional development.
