Annotatsiya

During the years of the war against fascism, that is, during the Second World War, the transfer of industry to the military path in Uzbekistan was one of the important historical processes. With the beginning of the war, the Soviet Union was forced to transform industry and production in order to supply the front with the necessary weapons and materials. Uzbekistan also made its contribution to this process. When the war began in June 1941, in order to preserve industry at the front, many industrial enterprises, plants and factories, especially heavy industry and production facilities related to armaments, were relocated from the war zone. A large number of enterprises, including arms factories and other strategic industries, were relocated to Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, Fergana and other cities of Uzbekistan. These territories were close to the front and were considered a safe zone for the Soviet Union.
