This study analyzes the phenomenon of polysemy of verbs in the Uzbek language. Polysemy is the property of a word to have several different, but semantically related meanings. The polysemy of verbs plays an important role in the lexical richness and productivity of the language. The study examines the forms of meaning that verbs have in different contexts, their semantic structure, and the factors that cause polysemy.
