This article analyzes the importance of the Code of Professional Culture and Service Discipline for preventing abuse of official authority and bribery by employees of Internal Affairs Bodies. The document discusses the modern development of the internal affairs bodies of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the fight against corruption, and the documents adopted to increase the effectiveness of the public control system, in particular, Resolution No. PP-10 of January 20, 2023, and the main directions of the New Code. The Code covers the requirements for employees for professional culture, ethical standards, legal procedures, and the prevention of corruption and other undesirable actions. These documents are aimed at improving the activities of internal affairs bodies, strengthening public trust, and achieving high moral standards of the state.
