The article provides some information about the political processes that took place during the reign of the Abbasid dynasty, the participation of the Turkic guard in the military campaigns of the Caliphate, about Afshin, who became the “favorite” of the Caliph al-Mutasim, which subsequently gave rise to envy and led to his death.
