The work tested the developed program and methodology of running strength tests to determine the loading of cast parts of the UVZ-9M three-axle truck of six-axle weighing wagons of type 640-VPV and the coefficients of vertical dynamic addition of sprung and unsprung parts of the wagon bogie in order to assess their residual life and the possibility of extending their service life. Running strength tests were carried out using the tensometry method with the formation of an experimental coupling consisting of a weighing wagon and a traction locomotive in straight and curved sections of the railway track when the wagon was moving at speeds from 10 to 80 km/h. During the tests, the values of the maximum stresses at the control points of the cast parts of the UVZ-9M three-axle bogie of the 640-VPV six-axle weighing wagon and the coefficients of vertical dynamics of the sprung and unsprung parts of the bogie were obtained. The results of the running strength tests allow us to conclude that there is a safety margin necessary to extend the service life of the trolley.
