The article is devoted to the perception and use of fiction and consideration of the methodology for using fiction in history lessons. The use of images of fiction enhances the internal clarity of the presentation of historical material by the teacher, serves to concretize it, the ability to bring to the minds of students the ideological content of the topic in an accessible concrete form, contributing to a stronger fixation in the memory of students of the studied historical material.
