This article examines the lexicographical interpretation of phraseological units expressing behavior, as well as the parameters of their representation in traditional and modern dictionaries. It is scientifically substantiated that the arrangement of phraseological units according to more external formal features in existing alphabetical phraseological dictionaries hinders the full manifestation of their conceptual and internal semantic integrity.
