This article examines the reorganization of agriculture in the Fergana Valley during the early years of World War II in response to wartime demands, as well as the challenges associated with implementing state production plans. Particular attention is paid to the widespread mobilization of women, older people, and children into agricultural labor to compensate for the shortage of male workers following their conscription into military service. The study also explores the introduction of new crop varieties and the economic difficulties faced by the agricultural sector under wartime conditions.
