This theoretical and analytical study examines pedagogical approaches to developing young people’s capacity to critically evaluate texts, images, audio, and videos produced by generative artificial intelligence. Drawing on comparative analysis of international guidance and Uzbek scholarship, conceptual modelling, and instructional design, it interprets digital information immunity as an integrated competence encompassing source verification, evidence triangulation, recognition of algorithmic and emotional manipulation, ethical information use, and reflective decision-making. A five-stage instructional mechanism is proposed, comprising diagnosis, problem-based engagement, verification, reflection, and transfer, alongside sample learning activities and formative assessment indicators. Because no field intervention was conducted, the model’s effectiveness is formulated as a proposition requiring future empirical validation.
