Annotatsiya

This article examines the structural and semantic features of the ethnocultural terms of Turkic peoples, utilizing ethnolinguistic and linguacultural approaches. The study analyzes the structure, semantic composition, and derivational characteristics of ethnocultural units within the lexical systems of Turkic languages, as well as their role in expressing national values, customs, traditions, and cultural heritage of these peoples. Furthermore, the historical stages of development of these terms, their common Turkic and national layers, and their semantic evolution are comparatively explored, highlighting both shared and distinct features across various Turkic languages. The research employs structural-semantic, descriptive, comparative-historical, and ethnolinguistic analysis methods, substantiating that ethnocultural vocabulary is a vital instrument reflecting the integral connection between language and culture. The findings serve to enrich scholarly research in the fields of Turkic lexicology, ethnolinguistics, linguaculturology, and comparative linguistics. The article also highlights the scientific and practical significance of ethnocultural terms in preserving the historical memory, national identity, and cultural heritage of a people.
