The article analyzes the role of ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance)principles in regional economic policy and their significance as a new paradigm of sustainabledevelopment. The interrelation of environmental, social, and governance criteria in regionaldevelopment is examined, and international experience is compared with national practice.Special attention is given to the prospects of implementing programs in Uzbekistan based on theconcept of the green economy and ESG standards. The findings demonstrate that ESG principlesserve as a key driver of regional sustainability and business transformation.
