The article examines the role of financial literacy as a key driver of sustainableeconomic development. It analyzes how the level of financial knowledge influences households’rational decision-making, savings growth, investment activity, and risk reduction. The importanceof government programs to improve financial culture and integrate financial education into theeducation system is highlighted.
