Annotatsiya

Unstable pelvic ring fractures are among the most severe injuries associated with polytrauma and are characterized by high mortality rates. In particular, cases accompanied by intrapelvic hemorrhage remain one of the leading causes of hemorrhagic shock, multiple organ failure, and long-term disability. Advances in modern diagnostic techniques and the implementation of minimally invasive hemostatic technologies into clinical practice have significantly improved treatment outcomes in this group of patients. Objective. To provide early diagnosis of intrapelvic hemorrhage in patients with unstable pelvic ring fractures, improve the diagnostic algorithm, and evaluate the clinical effectiveness of minimally invasive pelvic balloon tamponade. Materials and Methods. A retrospective-prospective study was conducted based on the analysis of 198 patients treated at the Bukhara Branch of the Republican Research Center for Emergency Medicine between 2017 and 2023. The study included 97 patients in the main group and 101 patients in the control group. Clinical, laboratory, ultrasonographic (FAST), radiographic, multislice computed tomography (MSCT), angiographic, statistical, and comparative research methods were employed.
