Relevance. An effective decrease in IOP may not always guarantee the stabilization of the glaucomatous process. Purpose of the study. Assess the structural changes in the optic disc, gemodinamik and functional parameters after complex treatment. Material and methods. 116 eyes with glaucomatous optic neuropathy were observed, diagnosed with primary open-angle and angle-closure glaucoma of II and III stages under conditions of intraocular pressure compensation (21.3±3.2). Complex treatment included: neuroprotective treatment, endonasal electrophoresis and transcutaneous electrical stimulation of the optic nerve. Results and conclusion. There was an improvement in visual acuity by 1.32 times with stage II and by 1.4 times with stage III in the II main group already a month after the therapy compared with the control group. The total boundaries of the peripheral visual field were also significantly expanded in the II main group.
