Relevance. The relevance of infection of the human population with the demodex folliculorum mite is high.And although many researchers tend to classify the mite itself as a saprophytic ectoparasite, nevertheless, its effect on thecourse, exacerbation of such diseases as acne, rosacea, blepharitis, damage to eyelashes, eyebrows is not in doubt. Purposeof the study. Methods for the treatment of demodicosis require long-term therapy and are not always effective. The goal is todevelop a rational therapy for demodicosis using modern methods. Material and methods. Patients were examined and treatedat the Republican Clinical Leather Hospital in the period 2020–2023. Results. A method for the treatment of demodicosiswith the use of carbon peeling, spray "Spregal" and cream "Elidel" was proposed. The results of the study showed that therecommended method is more effective. The clinical effect was observed starting from 3–4 days and the beginning of theregression of elements was observed on the 8–10th day. Conclusion. The recommended method of treatment significantlyimproved the clinical picture of diseases, reduced the duration of therapy. A new method for the treatment of demodicosis hasbeen proposed. Ticks demodex folliculorum causes demodicosis and is a pathogenetic factor in the development of rosacea.The article presents the results of research on the method of treating demodicosis, which includes the use of laser carbonpeeling, Spregal spray and Elidel cream.
