This article examines the efficacy of video lectures and online assessments alongside contemporary pedagogicalmethods, including online discussions and collaborative activities conducted in virtual classrooms. The appliedmethods were adapted to the online format and evaluated in terms of their compliance with key principles of distanceeducation, such as interactivity, accessibility, and flexibility. The research findings indicate that the most effective onlinelearning methodologies are those that emphasize active student engagement and a personalized instructional approach.The primary advantages of implementing such strategies include increased student motivation and involvement, as wellas an overall improvement in educational quality. The results of this study are of practical significance for the developmentof effective online courses and the enhancement of virtual learning experiences
