Using STEM Technologies to Help Develop Logical Thinking

Annotatsiya

The study provides theoretical substantiation for the high effectiveness of STEM technologies as an integratedpedagogical tool aimed at the purposeful development of the foundations of logical thinking in students. Based on ananalysis of domestic pedagogical approaches by T. V. Volosovets and I. M. Klimova, it is argued that STEM technologies,which integrate science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, ensure the active acquisition of logical operationssuch as analysis, synthesis, classification, and generalization through problem-oriented, research-based, and practicalactivities. The findings indicate that this approach best corresponds to the leading type of activity in preschool age,namely play and experimentation. The conclusion presents the author’s methodological strategies and recommendationsfor developing all aspects of logical thinking, including algorithmic thinking and constructive skills.
