Annotatsiya

This article comprehensively examines the social roots of domestic violence, its multifaceted forms, psychologicalconsequences, and preventive strategies. In the context of globalization, special attention is given to the family asa fundamental institution that ensures the psychological health of society, the upbringing of children, and social stability.Domestic violence manifests not only as physical aggression but also through psychological, emotional, economic, andsexual abuse. The resolutions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan aimed at protecting the rights of womenand children and improving the mechanisms for combating domestic violence are analyzed. According to internationalorganizations such as the UN and UNICEF, one in three women worldwide has experienced domestic violence at leastonce in her lifetime
