According to the World Health Organization (WHO), as of April 2024, the number of people infected with CO VID-19 was 704,753,681, and the death toll reached 7,010,681. When a new coronavirus infection spread around the world in March 2020, WHO declared the situation a pandemic. After the first case of infection was registered in Wuhan, China, a search for ways to stop the spread of severe acute respiratory disease and its treatment began in a short time. In the fight against the new virus, various treatment principles have been repeatedly modified in different countries of the world, but the results have varied. The article provides a comparative analysis of regional aspects of the treatment methods used in the fight against COVID-19 and their long-term complications, and also discusses measures to prevent complications in the fight against the disease.
