This article analyzes the political processes taking place in Turkestan at the beginning of the 20th century, the role of the local intelligentsia in their development, and the activities of political parties, groups, and movements in the region. The focus is on the programs of the political parties and movements established in Turkestan, as well as the sociopolitical issues they raised.
