This article examines the process of the formation of the concept of scientific heritage and substantiates its classification within the fields of exact sciences, social sciences and humanities, and natural sciences. It highlights the interrelationship between science, education, and museology in the preservation of scientific heritage. Furthermore, the study explores the experience of the development of scientific museums in countries such as China, France, Italy, Russia, Germany, and the United Kingdom, and reviews the activities of existing scientific museums in Uzbekistan.
