This article presents the religious and monumental architecture of Central Asia, based on archaeological data from the Kirkhudzhra and Uchtepa-Bulokmozor sites in the Namangan region. Excavations at the Kirkhudzhra site, dating from the 5th to 4th centuries BC, revealed a high mound leveled in the center of the city, on which a platform higher than the paksha was built.
