The article describes the history of Central Asia, in particular Uzbekistan, and the analysis of the issues covered in the travelogues written in Iran in the XIX-early XX centuries. Works in this category depict information about travel impressions and negotiation processes, important historical data on the cities of the visited country, culture of lifestyle of the population, socio-economic life, personalities of rulers, official receptions of ambassadors, public administration, political situation and processes in the region, relations and important historical events.
