Cultural diversity, centuries–old historical experience of intercultural and interreligiousinteraction are the heritage of the multinational people of Uzbekistan. More than 130 nations andnationalities live here. They are connected by a common history, culture, centuries–old friendshipand mutual respect, and good–neighborly relations. The land of Uzbekistan has become a homelandfor many representatives of small and large ethnic groups since ancient times. Each ethnic minority has found its home here as a result of various historical events. As a result of the migration movements of peoples, the number of people increased and the multinational structure of the population of Uzbekistan was formed. Therefore, the main priority of the national policy of the state is to create equal conditions and opportunities for the development of representatives of all nations, the revival and preservation of their national traditions, customs, rituals, the development of spirituality and culture, the harmonization of interethnic relations.
