In the second quarter of the 20th century, several works on the establishment of light industry were carried out in the Samarkand region. As a result, the number of local workers in light industrial enterprises in the region increased. In this article, an attempt was made to reveal the activities of industrial enterprises relocated to Samarkand region during the Second World War and the activities of workers, especially women, through archival materials, dissertations and sources.
