The development of craftsmanship has historically had a special significance in all nations. Products created on the basis of crafts are recognized as art. The activity of women in various fields of handicrafts is also worthy of attention. In our nation, women have been learning national crafts from time immemorial, giving them a special charm. Even today, in the course of the reforms that are being implemented in our country, they are also showing their activity as artisans. This article talks about the participation of women in the national craft industry during the years of independence and ensuring their employment on the basis of mastering various trades.
