The issue of the emergence of statehood systems in the Syrdarya basin constitutes the main content of this study. The article analyzes the results of recent research in this field. The Syrdarya basin region includes the historical and cultural territories of Fergana, Ustrushana, Chach, and the Lower Syrdarya. The process of statehood formation in these areas evolved differently compared to the historical-cultural regions of the Amudarya basin. The article examines the specific features, commonalities, and distinctive differences in the emergence of statehood in the Syrdarya basin.
