The article highlights the tangible culture of the Sazagan 3 Neolithic site, located on the north slopes of theKaratepa ridge in the Middle Zarafshan oasis. Along with defining its specific features, special attention waspaid to the typological analysis, manufacturing technologies, raw materials, and stone weaponry processingmethods. Since 2017, the monument has been studied by N. U. Kholmatov. The studies resulted in thediscovery of more than 100 stone artifacts and pottery fragments of considerable scientific interest. Based onthese materials, the cultural and periodic affiliation of the monument was determined, but the specific featuresof the stone industry, typology of stone tools, production technologies, and raw materials processing methodsremain unclear. The purpose of the article is to introduce the new data into scientific activities. A comparativeanalysis of stone items was carried out with reference to the Neolithic sites of Central Asia, especially themonuments of the Sazagan culture. Based on the typological analysis, taking into account the specifics of thestone industry, a type list was developed, and the information about the cultural and periodic characteristicsof the Sazagan 3 monument was systematized. In this regard, based on the materials from the Sazagan 3 site,the following conclusions can be drawn: 1. The artifacts from Sazagan 3 site are attributable to Stone AgeNeolithic communities; 2. The nature of the monumental stone industry, typological analysis of stone weapons,their manufacturing techniques, processing methods, and data on raw materials showed that the monumentbelongs to the Sazagan culture.
