This article is devoted to the history of the development of the Termez river port, the main focus of which is the analysis of the activities of the current Termez river port, built in the 20-50s of the twentieth century, and its role in the life of the population, the country based on historical sources. At the same time, information was provided on the activities of the river port, its expansion due to annual modernization, the social status of employees and workers of the port.
