In the presented work the main objective factors influencing the formation of a copyright protection system on the Internet were considered. It has been established that the protection of copyright on the Internet is one of the urgent problems of the modern legal system of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the framework of improving civil and criminal legislation in terms of the protection of intellectual property. The importance of creating conditions in the country that will guarantee the full protection of authors' rights reveals in the fact that cutting-edge information technologies make it easy to violate the serights by distributing copyright objects through the world wide network. Hence, this requires the application of special measures of responsibility to violators. Using the method of historical analysis, the in fluence of the latest information and communication technologies on the entire system of copyright protection was assessed.
