In this article, we have analyzed the active use of metaphors in the works of Ch.Aitmatov. In the works of Aitmatov we find many spiritualized and accurate descriptions of nature, its steps and mountains, picturesque and gloomy gorges, these abodes of ancient mythological spirits and heroes; ancient legends and fairy tales were transformed in a peculiar way, come to life in them.
