This article assessed the structure of comorbid diseases in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus, the relationship of certain factors (gender, age, diabetes experience, HbA1c levels at the onset and currently) and comorbid pathologies, and analyzed the prescribed hypoglycemic therapy in various clinical situations.
