The spectral dependences of the angles of rotation of the major axis of the polarization ellipse in the Faraday effect in TbAlO3 were investigated at temperatures of 90 K and 300 K in the visible and ultraviolet spectral regions. The analysis of the experimental results showed that the value of the angle of rotation of the major axis of the polarization ellipse of the light transmitted through the magnetized (in the longitudinal Faraday geometry of the experiment) TbAlO3 crystal of orthorhombic symmetry will represent an oscillating dependence (both on the wavelength, and on the temperature), the amplitude of which will be determined by the value of the angle of Faraday rotation. With decreasing temperature, the amplitude of oscillations of the angle of rotation of the major axis of the polarization ellipse sharply increases, which corresponds to an increase in the Verde constant at low temperatures.
