Among respiratory diseases, pneumonia is one of the serious problems of childhood. In the diagnosis of pneumonia, it is necessary to rely on anamnestic data (paying due attention to hereditary history), clinic, and the results of additional examination methods (chest x-ray and laboratory parameters). We studied complaints, anamnesis, clinical symptoms in 98 sick children aged 3 months to 3 years with pneumonia, analyzed the results of laboratory and instrumental research methods, on the basis of which we developed recommendations for hospitalization of sick children with pneumonia in a hospital, as well as treatment patients in outpatient settings.
