Annotatsiya

Bladder exstrophy-epispadias complex (BEEC) comprises a spectrum of congenital malformations impacting the urinary and skeletal systems. Effective management of BEEC necessitates meticulous preoperative planning, advanced surgical techniques, and comprehensive postoperative care. Recent advancements in BEEC treatment, including prenatal diagnosis, various surgical interventions, and the implementation of pelvic osteotomy with subsequent immobilization of the pelvis and lower extremities, have significantly enhanced the quality of life for affected individuals. Despite extensive research and detailed characterization of BEEC, the precise etiology remains elusive. The selection of the most appropriate surgical approach remains a debate among experts due to the complex anatomical and physiological anomalies associated with BEEC. Thus, establishing a universally accepted standard for surgical correction remains for discussion.
