The issue of athletesʼ pre-competition states is currently of great interest to many physiologists, coaches, and psychologists engaged in sports research. This topic is highly relevant given that psychological preparation is one of the most important stages in developing the ability to achieve the desired result. This article describes the results of athletesʼ pre-competition states. The research methods used included theoretical literature analysis, generalization and systematization, and processing of empirical data. The study results are presented and characterized.
