This article examines the main challenges in understanding satire’s compexities in literature. It appears in many countries, nations, cultures and has shaped how stories are told, but still it can be hard to figure out. Satire and satirical works use sarcasm, parody, and exaggeration, which can be easy to spot or very subtle, requiring careful reading. One big challenge is that it is hard to tell if the work is true satire or just uses some of satire's techniques or elements. This problem gets even harder when all kinds of stories address sensitive topics, as people can easily get confuse with satire. Because satire often talks about social, moral, or political issues, readers need some background theoretical knowledge to really get and differs satire from other genres. That is why, studying satire in literature still matters because it helps people think more deeply and shows how stories and society affect each other.
