A separate utterance is recognized as a structure that conveys a message, has a syntactic-semantic, grammatical structure, and reflects reality and expresses an attitude towards it. However, the essence of the utterance is manifested in its use in the context of speech communication or in the structure of the text. In addition, it is difficult to imagine that the utterance exists in the structure of the text in isolation from others or outside the context. Considering that speech communication consists of a combination of syntactically and substantively interconnected utterances, it is appropriate to study the utterance as an integral part of the speech act. First of all, we would like to recall that a holistic text creates the conditions for ensuring the sequence of individual utterances. Each utterance in the structure of the text has its own place, and changing this place cannot but affect the content structure of the text. The logical coherence and content integrity of the text are based precisely on the order of the utterances in its composition. This, in turn, creates conditions for perceiving the text as a holistic phenomenon. When talking about the activation of interrogative sentences in a particular context, it is important to remember that the sentence is not isolated in the process of communication, but, on the contrary, is an integral component of the text. After all, the sentence structure is formed not as a finished product or “building material” from the text, but under the influence of the context surrounding it.
