This study is dedicated to investigating the linguistic features of folk tales, which embody national historical memory, ancestral spirituality, traditions, and values. The tales are recognized as a fundamental source reflecting the people's worldview and ethnic values. The article establishes that the acceleration of linguocultural studies, a new direction in linguistics, is a direct result of effectively leveraging opportunities to preserve and promote national culture and customs. The primary focus is the in-depth lingvopoetic and functional analysis of dialectal units found in the texts of Uzbek folk tales. The role of dialectisms in tales is analyzed, demonstrating with examples that they are crucial tools for creating artistic and aesthetic expressiveness, folk tonality, and regional color. The research reveals the functional-semantic, lingvopoetic (stylistic), and sociolinguistic functions of these dialectal units using scientific methods. They are classified across parts of speech, and their participation in ensuring the text's communicative, identification, and aesthetic functions is substantiated. It is scientifically proven that dialectisms are essential linguistic units that strengthen the popular spirit of the tales and illuminate the ethnolinguistic layer of the language. The article is valuable for specialists in dialectology, lingvopoetics, sociolinguistics, and cultural studies.
