Arabic realia are culture-specific concepts that lack exact equivalents in other languages. These may include historical, religious, social, or geographical elements. This article examines various types of Arabic realia (material, social, religious, toponymic, etc.) and the translation challenges they pose when rendered into Uzbek. The study explores translation strategies such as transliteration, descriptive translation, equivalence selection, and the use of explanatory notes. It emphasizes the importance of preserving cultural adequacy, applying context-sensitive approaches, and considering the cultural awareness level of the reader. Based on practical analysis of literary and journalistic texts in Arabic, the article holds both theoretical and practical value for translators.
