The article emphasizes the role of drama in reducing anxiety associated with speaking a foreign language, as readers often feel more comfortable when they enter the character’s inner world. This increase in confidence encourages risk in language use, which is necessary for effective acquisition. Through role-playing and dramatization, students learn to express their thoughts creatively, think critically, and cooperate with their peers, which contributes to their deeper understanding of language.
