This article is devoted to the study of the semantic analysis of financial and economic terms. The article compares the lexical meaning of terms in the fields of economics and finance, their composition, form and application. It also covers the main terms used by specialists in the economic field and their semantic structures. It also discusses lexical changes, the evolution of terms and the emergence of new terms. The article examines the linguistic aspects of economic and financial terminology and analyzes how they have changed in professional language. New economic concepts, semantic expansion of terms, and the impact of this process on language are considered as important topics. Interestingly, the article provides information on various methods and approaches to semantic analysis, which helps to better understand the interrelationships between linguistics and economic linguistics.
