The definition of educational web resources has been clarified within this scientific article. Educational web resources are analyzed as a set of actions that implement educational and cognitive activities of students aimed at forming a certain system of knowledge and skills and professional competence, and seven types of it are analyzed: Hotlist, Multimedia Scrapbook, Treasure Hunt, Subject Sampler, Insight Reflector, Concept Builder, Web-Quest.
