The article examines the system of research funding in Uzbekistan and its effectiveness under modern conditions. It analyzes the main sources of financing, including state grants, international projects, and internal university funding programs. Special attention is given to the role of scientific research in developing intellectual capital and modernizing the education system. The paper also discusses existing challenges in research funding and proposes ways to improve the efficiency of financial resource utilization.
