Annotatsiya

Although the Russian state's conquest of Western Siberia in the 16th century meant that the Khorezm oasis' relations with these regions were no longer as good as they had been (during the 8th-14th centuries), this situation certainly undermined the long-standing historical ties between Khorezm and the Western Siberian regions. However, the analysis of written sources, as well as archaeological and numismatic sources, shows that the Khorezm oasis' relations with the Western Siberian regions did not cease until the 16th-19th centuries. In this regard, this article analyzes the problematic situations, controversial issues, and views that still exist on this topic.
